Why We Stopped COD ?

Time for a little back story. But first, my name is Pritika Loonia.

I started Coverful with big dreams of providing only quality products and in the most convenient way possible. And what's more convenient than getting free shipping and COD option too! I was ready to bear the extra cost so my customers are comfortable and are able to trust me. But things didn't go as planned. A huge number of people started ordering products on COD, Cash On Delivery but refused the parcel at doorstep, now I have to bear not only the shipping cost but also the return shipping charges (RTO) for the product. I thought may be this will improve and kept giving COD option until this.

Do you see the RED LINE ? RTO (Return To Origin) are the number of shipments that were refused by customers and are coming back to the me. About 40% of people refusing the package is bringing a huge pain to my small business and so with heavy heart I decided to stop COD. But free shipping on every order will always be there for all you lovely people. I wanted people to know the back story, so here it is.
